The American Goldfinch sings to our awareness, and is beckoning to unleash our own song. If we’ve been concealing our brilliance from the world – the finch is a sign to start making our value more audible and available to others.

Theo is named after Donna Tartt’s Pulitzer-Prize winning novel, The Goldfinch. The book tells the story of Theo Decker, whose mother is killed in a museum bombing and whose father wants little to do with him. During the bombing, Decker stole The Goldfinch, the 1654 painting by Carel Fabritius, which he keeps hidden from the world.
